Post the last thing you bought!
I've never seen the third one. The second one was alright, not good not bad, better than okay but not good, like a 6/10 putting one as total crap and ten as a straight classic.

I bought mozzerela sticks from Sonic and I must say they are pretty good.

This Just In...
Hey, maybe Grado doesn't make the RS2 either. Just the RS1.

Sony CD3000 impressions
I auditioned it out of a HeadRoom Max & was comparing it to the Sennheiser HD280 and Grado SR225 (which I had at the time). Don't remember the actual source, just the amplifier. It wasn't amazingly thin in comparison, but I did think it was bright and had a recessed midrange.

Sony CD3000 impressions
I read somewhere online that the SA series are all remakes of the discontinued low-end CD series. True? Likely not. Anyhow I thought the 3000's I auditioned had really good soundstage, fairly good speed, sharp ass detail, but had three problems: too bright highs, a very recessed midrange and the sound was thin. It seemed like it had a good range but the sound was just all over the place. Not bad for a ~$200 headphone but $350? Forget about it!

Best mp3 headphones for $10-$50
I'd go for the eH150's if you want isolation. -- They don't sound bad, they have a slight hollow-ness in the sound, otherwise they are quite balanced sounding for a cheap headphone. (In fact, I have yet to find something closed for 30 bucks that tops it) If you don't care for isolation the KSC35's sound better.

MDR's don't suck. Just the V-Crap series, where the lower end series all sound bloated, and the upper end sound okay, but not at the price they are going for. Anyhow I do own the KSC75 and I think it sounds fairly balanced for the price, and they are very moddable. Although, in the end, I prefer my K81DJ with my iPod. It sounds a bit more refined, and makes the KSC75 sound a bit harsh.

How the hell can I get AKG parts?
I e-mailed them on Friday for some pads--haven't gotten a response yet but it's been only two days.

Clever Little Clocks
I've noticed some of DirecTV's channels aren't balanced correctly. Flip through a few and you'll notice some lean to the right or the left.

I'm going to go turn off my TV. Maybe it will improve my soundstage. Maybe getting Dish Network will make the mids cleaner.

Plus, would the type of phone matter? Because my landline phone is a Durabrand. Would it improve more if I bought a Uniden? Or a Panasonic?

How would a phone call improve your audio equipment?

Finally caved in...
But you also have to kind of use an when the "em" or "en" sound is at the beginning of a word. Because it wouldn't be right to say I have a M&M, you just have to say an M&M.

Anybody here heard the Edition 9?
Seems mixed with a slight touch of FOTM.

If it were not for the brand name, I'd want one...
Very nice looking.

Maybe technology will advance enough to do that someday. If so, I wouldn't get it.

Looks more like those knobs on those cheap microwaves for the timer.
