Nice pens, though I'm not a huge fan of gold myself.
  2. Happy Birthday Marshal!
  3. Anansi Boys is great, as is American Gods... I'm trying to figure out which book of his to get next.
  4. All of his stuff is great, but my favourites are Tigana and The Fionavar Tapestry... though I am really likeing Ysabel. Great book! Probably my second or third favourite Heinlein. My favourite has always been Job: A Comedy of Justice. It is too hard to pick between most of the others since everything that he wrote in the 60's, 70's and 80's is so good.

Taxes are WAY faster on the computer.
  6. Ysabel by Guy Gavriel Kay
  7. Extra large double double at Timmys...
  8. I said it over there already, but my condolences. :'(
  9. Happy Birthday Earl!
  10. No, I think you are right. Whatever he was spiking the drinks with must have tasted vaguely of punch... and he put more in mine than yours.
  11. Hey, I remember those nonexistant headphones too. Tomek must have spiked the punch that day for us both to remember wrongly.
  12. hehe... funny guy
  13. Well, I just showed the Wife your posts and I'm pretty sure she is still in Pom mode...
  14. Ok, I definately remember meeting you in that case. You don't have Jude's accent though.
  15. I'll show her this post. Unfortunately, she also loves pugs. I hear they tend to have health issues though?
  16. Yeah, it was so cool getting to meet everyone. Billy was completely crazy [in a good way], Fred was very cool in person and Mike is a great guy. I had a long discussion about tubes with Todd, and his amp was pretty cool. I think I remember talking to you, but would need visual confirmation to be sure... it was a while back. I also got a chance to meet Kevin Gilmore, who seemed shy at first, but opened up real quick and let his mind be known. I almost walked away with his dynahi prototype still attached to my K271 Studios since it was my first encounter with the Neutrik locking jack. Kevin was not pleased! Ray and his family were superb hosts. His wife is a gifted cook, and his daughter... well.
  17. Perhaps a standard hooker, but not a '$5 hooker'. Of course $20 is needed for her to love you long time...
  18. The Chicago meet I attended was a blast... I will be up north on vacation at the time of this one though. Have fun guys.
  19. My Wife wants a pomeranian... I like bigger dogs, but think it is a shame to keep one in the city. So we will probably end up getting one of those little furballs once we get a new place. Our condo is over 1000 sq feet, but we've got 3 cats and 2 people in there already.
  20. Well, we pretty much have 100% utilization of our allocated bandwidth all day after 9am... and it is lunch time, so everyone is likely surfing the interwebz.
  21. Hmmm... didnt work for some reason. Tried it again and it is even slower. Might as well be on dialup.
  22. The network at work is sooooo slooooow. I'll try to run this from home tonight if I remember... and can tear myself away from the Wii.
  23. It drives them well, though it wasn't a tonal match with my rig. Could work if you have a tubed output CD player though.
  24. Cool, that takes me back to the days when I played MUSH's all day. [me=philodox]runs around the room emoting to everyone![/me]
  25. Too funny.
