I care most that mine sound good while listening, but why should I have to put up with a clanging wind chimes sound? Not in a statement product. Not right.

These East Indian Rosewood woody Grado 225s were the biggest and nicest surprise for me at CanJam bar none. Who knew Nate could not only build nice cables and amps, but is more than pretty handy with a lathe? The pics, as often happens, don't do them justice, but I'm loving the looks, and, lucky me, they also sound good. Thanks again Nate and Dan.

Mine sounds pretty much the same though a bit clangier (could be the difference between you on video and me having them in my hand) on the right side, though they did not make that sound at all when I first took them out of the box, only after wearing them for a couple hours.

Nope, that's not it. That's how mine sounded when I first took them out of the box, which was fine. It now sounds like there is something loose on the right, seriously like a wind chime sound or some kinda of mid-pitch bell in the distance.

Mine are brand new. Hadn't been off my head yet.

Something's wrong with the screw. This is not a sound that's going to go away. I've not taken these off my head since taking them out of the box and first testing them for kelvinz squeaks (none). The first time I took them off, the clanging sound was there on the right. It doesn't affect the sound when wearing them, but I'm not paying $1400 for this poor build quality. I was so enjoying them.
