current feedback electrostatic amp
I think you're not being "fair". I means: My favorite amplifiers are the BH/GG but comparing them with the CFAe is like comparing apples with oranges. I always try to make a comparison with something that has a certain similarity (in this case, solid state amps, not hybrids) so I think of the Carbon more than the BH / GG. Finally, I think that this amplifier is new and it has had less "development time" than other designs by Kevin, (although Joachin has done an excellent job with his modifications) I don´t know exactly why . Perhaps it is not very showy ot too exotic... I hope not to offend anyone.

What are you listening to Part the Third
I prefer "Revolver" ( IMO the best album of the boys of Liverpool) but "Abbey Road" is no bad.

We haven´t talked much about this amplifier. ? I usually need some time to adjust to the sound of a push-pull amplifier. Once time passes (hours) I feel very comfortable with him. Honestly, I don´t see any flaw: it has a fairly defined and balanced sound, enough power... to put something negative, the only problem I see is that not all adapt to the sound of a push-pull amplifier (paradoxical) ... But that's what Carbon is for.

These people from Pitchfork usually show good groups. I have been subscribed to your channel for some time.

Here Joachin explains how to do this in the simplest way.

I rotated the Jfets. I don´t notice any change. Good opportunity to check Bias, voltage, tighten connectors ... everything is correct. The only thing I have noticed is that the plates have lost a bit of bright green due to the heat.- KG Balanced Dynahi build discussion thread
Yes, I checked my amps and mi notes and i was wrong. I've been using them like that for a while. Now, we know empirically that it works inverted. I found this photo. It was the one that confused me: What a shame!!!!- Happy Birthday Pars!

Sorry Michael. Last night was very late when I answered I believe that the Drain pin is correctly connected to the Collector pin. Edit: Maybe I'm confused ... I need to look again at the transistor meter to be able to identify the pins. To be connected to the opposite, what makes clear is that they work- KG Balanced Dynahi build discussion thread
In my Dynalo. I think you can see it better here: Yes, you are right I rotated the photo when inserting it in the post.- KG Balanced Dynahi build discussion thread

Off topic: Very interesting. For a while I thought it was some kind of writing like the one used in the movie "Predator"- With a little help of my friends

For Jfets Idss measures I prefer use this:- KG Balanced Dynahi build discussion thread
They are something different from yours. 2SJ74GR bought in AMB: LSJ74 grade B bought in DIYAudio Store: 2SJ74GR bought from a member of DIYAudio: I have measured some units of each group and they all very similarly.- What are you listening to Part the Third
me too!!!- KG Balanced Dynahi build discussion thread
Very interesting. I had not noticed until now. I have reviewed some J74 of my inventory (including a Linear Systems LSJ74) with several transistor testers and S and D appear reversed as well. Edit: If they are all symmetrical, could you connect them to the opposite? - What are you listening to Part the Third
