  6. Got my subwoofer working again. I think it must have gone into some sort of protection mode at one point, either from power fluctuations or heat. Completely unplugging everything fixed it. Music is alive again.
  7. Spent a good part of yesterday going in and out of sleep on the couch, plan to do the same today. This is the first weekend in a long time I get an entire saturday and sunday off. I'm off on monday, but not really. I'm probably going to work my way through the Klezmatics albums I acquired recently. Very promising stuff for me. As an aside, the sony receiver and sacd player do the h.a.t.s. thing and it sounds great.

  9. Partly diversification, partly as a way to set aside some savings in a way that encourages me to not raid the funds every time I need a bit of walking around money. I lack discipline.

  14. I've been trying to find a way to list my iTunes library. For my reference out in the world, and for sharing w/ folks. Dusty tunes didnt work; nor did several other export options. I had previously been using Tree Copy on the PC, but its kind of annoying since you cant really scroll w/out navigating into each directory. Turns out you can do it straight in iTunes, and you can also even grab the album art. This is a godsend. 15. Never heard of Klezmatics before. Didnt find The Well where I looked, but I'm liking what else was available.
