Had a great ride with Dan today. Nice ride with just over 500 feet of elevation gain over the 21 miles. Averaged 15.7 MPH for the ride which is a big improvement for Dan after being back on the bike for such a short period. He's riding over 30 miles a week now. We are developing a pretty decent team of riders up here. Really shouldn't have stopped for lunch, it was crap BBQ and made the end of the ride more work than it needed to be.

I am going to take both of their spots, even if I have to buy my own house down there for training.

If that is his best I think I can take his spot. I have to imagine I will pick up some speed by using the little ring for the climbs.

Sounds like some fun. Big achievement. Too bad about the hills and getting dropped, riding for 45 miles by myself would have been terribly boring for me.

Okay, it looks like Tuesday works best for League One, if I have it later. I cancelled my thing for Tuesday night so I can do it at 8 now if that works for everyone. I have not deleted the Bryan and Brent teams in League One. Does league one want to expand to 10 teams and keep them in or should I cut them unceremoniously?

I can't even imagine grinding beef in a food processor. I have a Kitchenmaid stand blender with grinder attachment. Works perfectly.

Draft choices are Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. One night for each league. Monday can be anytime during the day. Tuesday will be at 6:30PM and Wednesday will be at 9:30 PM. I also need Emelius to accept his team in League One so I can set the draft.

I still have a Tascam 122 in the rack, a Nakamichi Dragon in storage and a big collection of cassettes.

I am going to have to look into changing travel plans to make that December Sebring ride. I wish I had just come down for this ride but for some reason I thought it was canceled since everyone would be there in December. Have fun.
