  1. Happy Birthday
  2. Everyone survived Schaeffer Farms, though Dan's son came close to a spectacular bike failure on a downhill. I can now confirm that Dan and his son are easily 6,842% better mountain bikers than Brent.
  3. Just a parking lot, should be impossible to miss if you can get to the park.

Happy Birthday Scott. Spending a day in Asheville sounds great.
  5. Happy Birthday Justin.
  6. So it looks like Me, Dan and his buddy for Schaeffer at 10:30 Saturday morning.
  7. Anyone going to be up for a Schaeffer Farms MTB ride on Saturday morning?
  8. Short rib nachos in memory of Brent. Sent from my nerd phone using Tapatalk
  9. Pretty amazing ride. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=yMYW91g5bwI
  10. It is funny, Colin and I had a conversation yesterday about when I got the first bike and we went riding in Liberty State Park. I started out in the same boat you are in. I was dying trying to get any mileage in. One of the most entertaining things is seeing the progress come on. Just a little bit longer each ride and you will be surprising yourself soon.
  11. I think I got about 5 hours of sleep after the fine dining and Forza racing with Colin, might need a nap today.
  12. It was a great ride and I hope we repeat the whole thing soon. Hooked up to Strava and it appears that losing a bit of weight helped with my HR as well. Typically average around 180-190 with peaks over 200. Today, average was 139 for the ride.
  13. Finished our 28 miles with all surviving. Sent from my nerd phone using Tapatalk
  14. As he will probably be running alongside you, that is very likely. I am not sure what time people are thinking for tomorrow. If we have to swing by the shop we would not be rolling into Silver Spring until 10:30-10:45ish.
  15. Colin might be on the MTB as we cannot break loose the fucking pedals from the Cervelo. Might have to swing by the shop in the morning before we head up to Maryland.
  16. Chilean Sea Bass Sent from my nerd phone using Tapatalk
  17. Raining pretty hard here at the moment. I know the Fountainhead MTB ribbon cutting / MORE picnic has already announced trails there are closed this weekend.
  18. Colin will be the anchor. He will be on my R5 with flat pedals.
  19. So you don't want to come down to Silver Spring for a road ride on Saturday Dan. It is really not a difficult ride and we take it pretty leisurely. Who would be up for a Rock Creek Park ride Saturday 9:30-10:00ish?
  20. Maybe it will be possible to do MTB on Sunday and road bike on Saturday. Not sure if the trails might dry with the sunny Saturday that is projected or now.
  21. Free range chicken and hand cut truffle fries and Molly Dooker The Boxer Sent from my nerd phone using Tapatalk
  22. Stupid rain. I might just stay home all weekend and watch the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
  23. I am holding out for MTB on Saturday. If not then I guess it is just the boring road ride on Sunday.
  24. Looking like this rain might put a dent in our mtb plans. Sent from my nerd phone using Tapatalk
  25. I already have two sets of NV, I had no dynamos and I only like stuff that is shiny and new.
