I don’t use that anymore. Just the 10K pot. Works much better.

I did the Ocoee in a raft about a decade ago.
What a great trip!
Enjoy

On my prototype build, I had some hum issues. I tried DC supplies on the front-end and they did not help.
What helped was how I routed the power / filament supply wires.
You should have no hum on the T2.

At some point I switched to a 10K pot. I liked the characteristics better with the 10K pot. My newest boards use 10K pot as well.

Hi Milan,
You should be using a 10k linear pot for the controller.
That might be older code, but it’s been a while and it will take some time for me to find and verify a newer version.
Best,

Kerry, can you recommend a laser head for etching anodized aluminium?
PS: soon to join the CNC machinist club with a DIY CNC and a 3hp ATC motor.
I send my stuff out for the moment. They use a fiber laser. Very nice stuff.
Congrats and good luck.

If you're having issues with a 4 amp fuse at 240VAC you may have something wrong. Make sure it is a slow blow fuse. They start with a T in front of the of the value (i.e. T2A @ 250V).

Mine also run at about 205W. I've been using T3.15A 250V slow blow fuses in the US and I drop that down to T2A for 220VAC or higher.
I think these values are pretty reliable.

As a good parent, I believe you can’t sleep well at night until you build him a linear power supply unit to power the unit.
I'm proud of him in so many ways, but I failed completely to get him interested in high end audio

I was looking at this for a little while. My son ended up getting the version with the built in amp, but I agree it’s best to use an external DAC with it.
I think it’s pretty good (not perfect) and my son is happy with his.

That’s very sad Chris. It’s a very hard disease for all.
Sincere condolences to you and your family.

Here's the part numbers for the 2x8 connectors:
1-794065-0

The 2 and three pin connectors are the same series.
