Not considering to drop out. The waiting game is killing some of the fun, and the talk about them sharing sound signature of the K701 was a turn-off, but I guess in the end, I'll just have to wait and hear for myself. I do have high hopes.

We have been getting quite a lot of snow lately. The snow lays nicely on the trees, and the winter landscape is perfect. I really hope it stays cold, which will make the conditions for the upcoming Norwegian World Rally Championship round perfect. Some of the stages are held only a snowball throw away from my place, so looking forward to watch some of the SS stages

For what it's worth, I have the newer version RS-1. Out of the box, they were kind of harsh and thin sounding. Running them overnight with dangerously high-volume pink noise (afraid of blowing the drivers) transformed them into more relaxed full sounding can with less harshness. Just like I could hear the drivers had softened. I never heard the vintage RS-1's though so I can not comment on differences.

I came here when doing my research on the Zana Deux. I do not think I have missed many posts on the net about this amp lol! Kind of refreshing coming here, after being on that other site.
