Looking like it’s coming together nicely, Al. M&O will be making wood chips before you know it. I’m still ping ponging away.

Looks great! Know that we know the measurements we can always make a shim to go under the board to raise it up a bit.

You can scan and convert to vectors. If you know the exact measurement you can then scale to fit.

Going to give the nod to the Mirka paper, it’s a little thicker, the Festool version just doesn’t hold up as well to edges and rips easier. Thought If having to sand on edges or corners, neither is the way to go.

Just one side. Running the blade right up to the stock fence. I really need to make a resaw fence.- What Are You Building Today

I’ll have to try some out. I assume any loop backed 3x5 will work. IE the Mirka paper should work fine on the Surfprep.- What Are You Building Today
So far no issues or complaints. I don’t really have anything to compare it to besides a Makita finish sander which it is way better than. I would like to try some other brands papers, the Surfprep ones seem to wear down super quick.- What Are You Building Today

Still need to run them rough the sander. Goal was to have them be 1/32 when finished. I’m sure I could go thinner but wanted to err on being thicker until I’m really good at resawing them.- What Are You Building Today
Marc sent me a really nice piece of figured walnut to turn into record player parts. Part is going to be 1.35” thick but board was 2.5”. Seemed to be a waste to machine/plane it down to the correct thickness. Nice finally having the right tools for the job.- Head Case Motorsports

As long as I don’t have to test them I’m out. Made this little plaque, first time doing a small intricate V carve. I was a little worried it was going to be a tear-out disaster but it actually turned out well.- What Are You Building Today
Opening the hospital back up to the public next week, so I was commissioned to make some receptionist shields.- What Are You Building Today
Looks like y’all got some fun projects going. Before I could do anything else I need some HVAC in the shop since it’s getting hot and humid. Put this 26,000 BTU Mr Cool in yesterday/today. Pretty darn easy DIY install. So far it’s cooling great.- Head Case Motorsports
