  1. From my research it seems to have the same 25 connection limit that Windows 10 has.
  2. Thanks, that’s makes sense. Active server will just be on one machine. With the VMs I can do replication. Server fails, the replication server will pick up its IP address and become the active server. Automatic with very little down time and very little if any loss of data. Plus it makes them easy to move since they are hardware agnostic for the most part.
  3. Our practice management software also has to run on the server. So it has to be Windows.
  4. We are hitting the 25 connection limit of Windows 10, so the only fix is moving to Server. Many questions but the main things I’m trying to figure out is licensing and what I’m going to have to set up. We have 25 computers that all use the same log-in. Nobody needs a user account so the plan is to just have each computer with its own login. So trying to determine if I need device CALs in this case or still user CALs? Plan on running it in a VM on Hyper-V. Do I have to license a replica as well? For setup I assume I’ll need to set up Active Directory and a Print Sever. Then Group Policies for each computer so they have the correct share and printer access. I’m assuming that this isn’t to difficult but I’ve been wrong before. Anything else I might be missing?
  5. Any Windows Servers experts in here? I need to migrate from Windows 10 to Server and have questions.
  6. Built the lower deck and made the chop. Still need to cut it down and make it presentable but I wanted to make sure the glide fit and worked well. It sure does. IMG_5519.MOV
  7. I could see that if someone was working on a little here and there. The Felder really earned it's keep, I spent just about two days straight jointing and plane 300bf of rough maple. Being able to quickly make accurate adjustments was really nice. Just a garage. HOA won't let me build one.
  8. No, I’m lazy, just mortise and tenon. I have modern lag bolts.
  9. I’ve been plugging away at it for a couple weeks, it’s deceptively a whole lot of more work than it looks. So far I’ve collected seven 55 gallon bags of wood chips making it. So far I’m happy with how it’s turning out even though I’ve made a couple mistakes here and there.
  10. Finally at the point I can use the Roubo bench I’m making as a bench. Need to tweak the fit of the top a little and finishing building the vice leg and deadman.
  11. Looks like oak. I would save it for something nicer than painted doors. Place it will take some work filling the grain. Get some paint grade maple or poplar?
  12. It's magical, so of course it can.
  13. Looking back I can see it as well now.
  14. One of them. Test fiting in place meow.
  15. Doug has it. Figure I would add some French flair since it is a Roubo. Plus adding a trailer home or dead squirrel would have been to much work.
  16. I somehow missed this thread, I'll start posting over here for my ping ponging/wood chipping. Made a dovetail. Not perfect, but it was my first try.
  17. X3 on the welds. Made a dovetail.
  18. Sofa king awesome!
  19. Yuge cougar fan.
  20. Latest ping pong action for a retiring Park Ranger.
  21. Thanks, I just whipped it up real quick to make sure I understood how Fusion was going to machine a complex surface, and it would do what I expected. Didn’t want to ruin a $400 chunk of walnut on my first go.
  22. It was. Was more a test of making something with a lot of beveling and lofting to see how it would turn out.
  23. Everything in F360. Since that part worked out I threw caution to the wind and did the top of the coffee table.
  24. First test part cut with Fusion 360.
