  1. Sadly, no.
  2. What if you're a card-carrying limousine liberal? They did pretty well just bringing in the IPO in the current climate. The CNBC talking head said over 70% of announced public offerings this year have either been pulled or failed to make their ranges. Anyway, she's the tall woman lurking over the CEO's right shoulder. The company execs at the front are clapping so hard because they just made real phat lewt. http://www.nyse.com/downloads/2010/03/Obell031110.mp4
  3. Simple Minds -- New Gold Dream Vinyl.
  4. For you habitual CNBC viewers, Mrs. Stretch will be up on the balcony ringing the bell at the NYSE this morning. Ding, ding, ding -- Daddy needs a new pair of headphones!
  5. Nice sunny day. Rode bikes, picnicked, played board games, climbed trees.
  6. 18" * 12" * Awesome Edit: Great minds etc.
  7. Faaaahhhhkkkk!
  8. I have a pair of Harbeth P3ESR on my desk. Thoroughly recommend them and, despite their 83.5dB sensitivity, think 25W would be plenty at the range you're talking about.
  9. With the O2s, such is indeed my assumption.
  10. Thanks. I'll get to try the two side by side myself fairly shortly.
  11. Jenny Lewis -- Acid Tongue Vinyl. Sounds pretty sweet, but I definitely still miss the WES.
  12. Congrats Todd. Don't forget to install room treatments before buying any chairs. It's the HC way!
  13. Question about terminology. The cart I'm using has a recommended loading of: "Within 20 ohms with step-up transformer, within 100 ohms with head amplifier, within 47k ohms with high gain EQ amplifier." The new XOno has a pre-preamp circuit for MC carts, so I assume it falls into the middle category? Definitely sounds better at 100 ohms than at 1000 ohms, don't know if it's worth trying lower settings.
  14. As are all Ebony Erections erections, it is said.
  15. O ye wise men of Staxen, any thoughts on what a fair price might be for a used SRM-007t in decent nick? For verily, having three stat amps at one time is probably overkill even by the standards of this place.
  16. Sadly I can't find any pictures of my Little Dot!
  17. Those came out great! Hope you're enjoying them right now.
  18. Except tethering will probably cost more than that. And their CEO says no one will want the 3G version anyway.
  19. Seems like a pretty simple hardware matter of 30-pin connector to 30-pin connector. Again, how do AT&T justify discriminating against one particular computing/display device once you've paid for a certain amount of tethering bandwidth?
  20. My name is Stretch and I, too, am an iPhone addict. Apparently. iPhone can be addicting, says new survey Although, "In fact, 75 percent admitted to falling asleep with the iPhone in bed with them" is a bit of a shocker. Respect, Stanford geeks.
  21. Because it's stupid? When AT&T enables tethering on their network, why would an iPad be treated any different from a laptop?
  22. Shut up and drive.
  23. Mark Linkous, aka Sparklehorse, takes his own life, his family says [updated + Corrected] | Pop & Hiss | Los Angeles Times I am going to go listen to Vivadixiesubmarinetransmissionplot again.
  24. I think Dinny should buy a refreshed MBP and an iPad. This is the HC way, amirite?
  25. Lawks-a-mercy! Ah do declare thayese JH13s ahr giving me the vapors. Be still mah beating eardrums...
