Just received an email from CCB alerting fans that if the Tampa City Council does not renew their temporary wet zoning or make it permanent, the tasting room will close 12/16/10. This will not have an effect on our get together fortunately. The council voted to a 3 -3 tie with one member missing and that 4th vote needed for it to pass. It comes up for vote again 12/2/10. I just wrote to the 3 members that voted against the wet zoning being continued. All you Florida guys should contact these council members in support of CCB. If you are interested, let me know and I will forward the email to you.

Vicki, you have the killer cat to watch over the place. I wouldn't worry. You may find a partially eaten body on the floor when you get home but at least your stuff will still be there.

Peter, those are amazing photographs! Peter, is that Red Rocks Canyon? My wife and I hiked that last year. Whenever I see pics like that it reminds me of how much Florida sucks.

My car will be there with the exception of Saturday night. However, I do not intend on driving it if I'm drinking but a non drinker is welcome to drive it. It will hold 5 comfortably.

Comparing is good. I have certainly done my fair share. My room is a lot smaller than where you will be but I'm pretty certain that in a room that is 20 x 22 you will get more than enough volume out of 20 watts. The amp is hot with all those tubes but I will deal with it. The power switch is in the back and there is a source selector for each channel also in the back. Kind of a pita but not that big of a deal.

I'm running it in triode which is 20 watts and it gets very loud. The room is too small but it's all I am allowed at the moment. I'm listening to some live clash from Shea Stadium on vinyl. They can rock. Thanks guys. Do I dare say, done? Nah, that would be a silly thing for me to say.

Vicki, Gail uses one when she spins. This is my first Manley amp. It was between this and the Mahis. I was able to pick these up gor a little less with 3 yeats left on the warranty. It is pretty warm in here at the moment.
