I am in A room with 3 precincts in Fort Lauderdale. It has been non stop just about the entire day. At the moment there are 40 on line outside and another 25 inside voting. By 2:00, more than 500 people voted.

Polls are open At my assigned precinct and there is a long line, which is good in this precinct. I just hope it lasts. Go Giants!

I was just advised that Saturday night, December 11, 2010 is the Blue Key Banquet at U of F. Assuming my daughter is offered membership, which we believe is likely, I will be going to the banquet Saturday night. I'm hoping I can work this out so I can drive over, meet up with my family, attend the banquet and head back to Tampa after it's over.

The drive from Orlando to Tampa is easy as long as you don't hit traffic, which in Orlando can suck. Either way you will be there in under 2 hours and likely under 1.5 hours.

Baked two of these. First pies I've ever made. Letting them cool for an hour before trying them out. Making a spatchcock chicken and a beer can chicken.

I could never get used to having to move my head to look in a particular direction. Fortunately my eyes are not bad so I can get away without glasses for distance. Reading is a problem but I can either use reading glasses, stretch my arms or wear contacts (one for reading and one for distance).

I gave up on progressives a while ago.
