  1. Pre race light massage done. Next up is the Maiden in the Mist boat ride to the Falls.
  2. I'm sure it is slower. I haven't used an i3 or i5 so to me there is no difference. I mean, the Air if not supposed to be a replacement for a hardcore computer user. To me it's for someone that travels and needs the basic functions in a small light form factor or someone like my daughter to use itunes or stream sirius, use the nets, take to class, etc.
  3. Future proof in what way? How long into the future? Again, if it surfs the net, sends emails, connects to wifi, does word processing, for most people that is probably enough for what this computer would be used for.
  4. I agree with Reks. You are paying for the form factor. I don't need crazy fast specs. I need something that is easy to carry and does what I want it to do. I paid $900 for an iPad, which has limited specs but it just fits the bill. If I didn't have an iPad I could see myself with the 11'' version. I am considering the 11" to replace my daughters aging macbook.
  5. Todd, that is good enough to be in your main rig. I don't know if you read what I wrote about the Selah monitors at RMAF. They were excellent and I considered buying them, was reminded about yours and then decided on the Zu's. I was surprised how good they were. I spent a lot of time with the Zu Essence and the Nova and thought that it is a nice piece of gear, in particular, for the price.

I will have more to say later. The Rethm amp with the LCD-2's was about as good as headphone listening gets. I was talking about with Aman George about the amp and kept telling him that I don't want to get sucked into headphones again. However, at the price they are looking to sell that amp it is a bargain. For $2,000 you will have one hell of a headphone rig with the LCD-2.
  14. A correction from yesterday. I decided to buy the Zu Soul Superfly, same one that Jp bought. justin then bought the Omens that was going to buy.
  15. HappY Birthday!
  16. I was waiting for them to send a pp invoice. They do no start shipping until 11/1. Jp and I had been talking to Ron Williams, from Zu (the guy who was the rep for Zu that came to my meet), and at the end of the day, he said they were offering the show demos at a discount, so being the good Jew that I am I said sold. I must take this opportunity to thank Tyler. Without his help in shipping to me, this would not be possible.
  17. Bought the Zu Omen show sample.

Cherry Cricket is 18 miles away and an A- on Beer Advocate and allegedly amazing burgers and wings. I'm just saying. I'm not going to be at the hotel much before 9 p.m. so I guess the closer you guys are the better.
  25. Happy Birthday Vicki! We will miss you this weekend. Happy Birthday Penger!
