One of the all time great baseball managers, and a man who wasn't afraid to speak his mind. He died today, at age 82.

A buddy of mine lived outside Baltimore for a while.  Big baseball fan, but grew up here in Boston area, loved the Red Sox.  But he often said the only Baltimore baseball person he liked was Earl Weaver.

I think Earl would appreciate this.
