February 5, 200719 yr Anyone have more info on their top line over-ear models? http://www.hometheaterhifi.com/forum/showthread.php?p=25661#post25661
February 5, 200719 yr I might get it out of curiosity, depending on how good the return policy is from Amazon.
February 6, 200719 yr Author Certainly look nice, and comfortable... Someone buy them, so we can get your review
February 10, 200719 yr I'm thinking of buying the AH-D2000 or the AH-D1000 as a portable. zChan, you've heard all three models haven't you? What do you think of the D5000?
February 10, 200719 yr Unfortunately, I haven't. I'm reading positive reports on the D1000 on various japanese headphone blogs so my hopes are up for a good portable. Denon is demoing all three at a headphone event at Fujiya-Avic on the 24th but unfortunately I'm going skiing that weekend.

So the AH-D1000 is convenient enough for portable use from what people are saying?
February 10, 200719 yr the AH-D1000 seems pretty large to really be a portable can... but I suppose it's similar to walking around with a pair of DJ cans.
April 3, 200719 yr So the D1000 was rather disappointing. Has a very nice airy sound to it, but I couldn't stand the piercing highs and the boomy mid-bass. The D2000 was larger than I expected and it seems to leak. Ahwell.
