For some reason which I can't explain, I wandered over to the Cavilli website today and saw that the Liquid Lightning 2T was selling for $2499.50.   Original price was $4250.  Wonder what's going on?

Must have been a best seller!  Wonder how this makes the people who bought it at list price feel?

Well I know nothing about the technical side of audio, and I guess I could try and learn, but I'm only wanting to listen to gear, however I like to think I'm savvy enough to know those that do, and don't, and if I hadn't taken notice of those that do, then I might've ended up getting a Cavalli which in my case would probably have been a LL1, having said that, NO I WOULD NOT have got one because to me it looks nothing special.

Well I once used my 009's with a LL1, and have never been so nervous, simply because getting my 009's plugged in and even more so out was a nightmare.

So this is the second time this has happened, gotta love buying Cavalli crap. 

As for the LL1 sockets, it was just a matter of nobody measuring the Stax pins accurately and sizing the plastic cover for the socket correctly.  Took 1 minute to fix that... 

But their build quality has improved right per you & KG's suggestions.

No, it hasn't.  Same shitty circuit too made even worse by the retarded SE-XLR converter. 

well at least the chassis don't rust anymore.

Maybe they sould give them away.. wait... maybe Cavalli should give it away....  

The best part of this is the slashing of used prices.  That means I can pickup one of these for next to nothing and expose Cavalli again for the piece of shit he really is.
