January 9, 20188 yr Bowie would have been 71 today and in two days it'll be the annie of his death. Just noticed that Rick Wakeman played keys on Hunky Dory (Changes, Life on Mars etc). Still seems impossible that he won't surprise us with revelation again!

January 11, 20188 yr It was such a rollercoaster... on the 8th I bought and listened to the new album. I thought it was one of the five best of his career. Having no idea of his health status, I even hoped that he would tour as I had seen him many times, but Debbie had not. And then the 10th. And he was gone. From feeling so high to feeling so low. A lot of music has been important in my life. None more than his. Happy Birthday and Goodbye again David. The music will never go away.
