MOTMOTMOT Needed

Featured Replies

Someone has emailed me looking for someone to build a regulated 12v power supply that will work in france, along with the cable to make an apogee AD500 work from it. I can provide contact information, etc.

I can only speak for myself as a non-MOT but building power supplies doesn't seem like anything anyone is interested in doing. I get requests reasonably often (considering I don't solicit anything) and usually the only way that someone gets one built is to post a WTB thread.

Yah, but I know that at least one of the MOTMOTMOTs here is hard up for cash, and the guy was looking to buy, so I figured I'd help 2 people at once :) I have no financial interest in either end of the deal.

Dan, I'm suprised that you didn't directly message me about it ;)

I'd be willing.

I don't know much about power supplies, but wouldn't a regulated Computer PSU do it? They can dish out a decent amount of current and output 12V. Although I think most are switching these days for efficiency.
