The description of the AC series was high current for x-overs -- would that be detrimental in my application? If you post images of the PCB, I'll show you where they are. Sherwood Posted November 24, 2008 Report Share Posted November 24, 2008 Got the GFP-750 in but it was all effed up. The balance on the volume pot never equalled out, and even all the way down at 7 o'clock I got about 75% volume out of the right channel (and 0% out of the left). Only way it worked was to max it out and then attenuate volume on the source, which is hardly worthwhile for a preamp. The seller wants to refund me $200 to have it fixed, but I'm pretty certain the Alps pot in there is out of production, so I'm sending it back and looking elsewhere.
