November 25, 201015 yr comment_405791 I had a problem with the last amp i built with pcb mounted sockets where the tubes werent straight (probably because the sockets werent parallel to the board. anyone have any tips on how i can get the sockets all mounted level so the tubes can stick out straight? November 25, 201015 yr comment_405831 I usually use strips of masking tape to hold stuff on the board while I solder. Report

November 26, 201015 yr comment_405871 I do the same. It also helps to push it down, hard so it sits closer to the board. Solder from the top, and then adjust. Report
