There isn't much talk about HE-4 but at this price point it should be a great choice for those trying headphone other than dynamic. It is less demanding on amp IIRC.

Has anyone heard it? What do you think?

I picked up a set of HE-4's as part of the nyc meet silent auction - pretty forgettable headphones, in all honesty. Very thick and bloomy... similar sound signature to the HD650s, except not good

We had a loaner pair at our small meet and I wasn't a fan either. I tried it off half a dozen amps and it didn't improve at all. Maybe someone will start a rumour that it needs a 20W speaker amp hehe.
