  1. Good news, my foot is almost all better! I tested it out at physical therapy (I had to skip last week because of my foot) and there wasn't too much soreness using the elliptic for 10 minutes. I'm still going to refrain for running/jumping for another week - not going to push my luck.
  2. Best for Quest. The saddest I can recall being was when my dog died, so really glad yours is doing better. Finished my first year in Washington/at this job. Got a 5% raise.
  3. Visited my friend Howard's shop to buy a record brush. Listened to a very impressive all Ayre electronics with Focal speakers system for a while. I'm not familiar with any of the components, but sound that good from a Red Book CD makes me think their disk players and DACs are worth a real serious look. Of course anybody with a shit ton of money could just grab the whole system as a hifi in a box. &IM He didn't have any Decca brushes though. I'll order one from Todd.
  4. Gotta tell ya mikey, I love that car. Keep it living so I can admire it some more when I'm next out there.
  5. So it's that time of year again. Karen will be running in the Chicago Marathon for St. Jude's Children's Hospital on 10/13. If of are so inclined her contribution page is here. Even if you decide not to contribute, please wish her luck as she is crazier this year than most. She has been trying to run in the New York marathon for 4 years, but since it is a lottery she has not got in. This year she did, but the results were released after she had registered for Chicago. Therefore, she will be running two marathons less than a month apart (New York is on 11/3 this year) and needs all the luck she can get in my opinion.
