Ended up staying with the apartment with the balcony. Now to start considering speaker options for the living room. It has full concrete slab construction, reasonably high ceiling, and wall to wall carpeting, so I am hopeful that I can get something decent sounding.

Went to set up my pedal board and decided the little Nano was a bit small with my current pedals as the power supply could not be mounted beneath the plate. Went out and got the Pedaltrain Jr. instead. Finally got to use my first pedal I bought a couple of months ago and found it to be very good.

Spent yesterday in a Laura Nyro obscession. Skipped going to the Goodwill to pick up a black dress and mommies red lipstick but her hits still have a special place in my life. That's weird. I just got the mk2 upgrade 2 months ago. Had to ship it in, but they did it for $900. Maybe I got lucky. I'll pm you the info, maybe that'll help.

Sigh. Morning after the wedding night and I'm posting on HC. I also was 'forced' to have a double of Elijah Craig Barrel Strength. I know, I know.. I was suffering. As per other reviews, fantastic whisky at a fantastic value.

That's a great phone, but I'd like to be able to share my iCloud data between all my devices. I'd be happy with a 5s again, but can't stand to spend the same amount of money on last year's 5s if a new model comes out in 1-2 months. My wife offered to take her old 4s back and give me her new 5s, which I thought was sweet but I declined. It's crazy that I even brought the old phone with us on the trip, but it came in handy. When we get back home in a few days I'm going to get a new battery for the spare iPhone 4s that I'm using now, and use it for a couple of months until the iPhone 6 comes out. Tonight the battery level dropped from 100% to 30% in just 5 hours, which is not unusual for a 3 year old phone. I just can't believe the rear power hatch folded up the old phone like a sammich.

I have one of this and it is pretty nice portable amp/DAC combo. Don't expect stellar performance as a hirez/DSD DAC tho. The downfall of this particular Sony is its rather short battery life and inability to charge while playing. The pha-2 is especially great when paired with my Sony nwz-zx1 & JH13pro. Beside the battery issue, the pha-2 is a very well designed unit.
