Awesome! I spent 2.5 hours with the hubby today at the eye doctor (we were lucky to get an appointment at all before the weekend) and the eye doctor is pretty sure he has shingles and not just a normal viral infection... so I guess I don't have to invest in any silver daggers. It is good to have a little closure. Hopefully starting on the anti-viral meds will keep him from having any permanent damage to the eye (the shingles seemed to have not affected the actual eye yet, just the area around it). Phew.

I have a lot of garlic and bad music.

Had to take the hubby to see the doctor. He had chills last night and a fever of 103 this morning (along with redness in the eye and some red marks on his face that appeared on Monday). The fever scared me because it seemed kind of high (at least for an adult). His fever has broken and he seems to be doing better now. The doctor just said it is probably due to a virus and he should rest and drink fluids and take fever reducing medicine ... of course.

Hehe I tired of working, time for a little break... Marc's pictures are making me thirsty.

Dos Maderas 5+3 rum and Coke with a bit of lime juice. Ok but the Dos Maderas 5+3 just doesn't have enough bite. I bought it to replace the bottle of Vizcaya VXOP rum bottle I just killed but the Vizcaya is much better.

I have a lovely pair of Phiaton something or other that I won at CanJam. They are not horrible but I would not buy a pair (nor do I actually listen to mine). I should really give them away to someone who would love them.
