Hey, congrats! I salute you!

What are you drinking now, pt 2.
Pretty tasty. The St. Germain elderflower taste is pretty subtle next to the bourbon, but it's just enough to make it interesting. I used the recipe on their web site; I think next time I'll increase the St. Germain just a bit.

This. Cheers, NWT! Yep, I got home ok, though Anne thought I was nuts for riding my bike home at 1am after a night of drinking with the boys. I bet I had the equivalent of 2-3 beers over 6 hours, and it was about a 5 minute bike ride. She seemed better after I explained it. Tired all day yesterday but I'm just not used to staying up past 11pm any more. Oh, and I believe that Bryan and his young friends would be dead from drinking LONG before you would, Jeff!

Dammit, Jacob, that really sucks! Moving is one of my least favorite life activities. I hope it works out soon. Brent, sounds like a nice weekend! That Tom Hankins system looks terrific on paper, must be great in real life!

Thanks, Shelly. I'll look for the Rain. I really like the St Germain. Sounds like a good margarita.

iPad apps
Not sure it's the best, since it's all I've used, but did it work fine for me on ipad.

It was great having lunch with you, Chris! I believe the beer you had was a Spaaten ( two ” a's in there, I think?). Then, of course, a schnitzel of some sort for lunch. Glad you enjoyed the LCD2!

And now what did you do TODAY?
@Brent, I'm no neurosurgeon, but I do remember Cauda Equina Syndrome being very serious stuff. One of the big deal diagnosesyou need to consider to avoid major problems. That WebMD link looks pretty accurate and detailed, maybe so detailed that the important thing gets lost. The big thing is that it can quickly lead to permanent nerve damage, resulting in permanent loss of bowel and bladder control, or paralysis of the legs. Which would be bad. Really bad. I 'm really glad you caught it and treated it quickly! @Jim, hope you feel younger today! I am older than anyone in our circle, and older than anyone here that has 6 year olds. That makes me feel old. And my knees hurt when I give them a piggyback ride. And when I play soccer with my son, it's hard to run and change directions, and he says 'I hate to take advantage of an old man' and cracks up. Which is actually kind of funny. But hey, my life is more stable than any of them, my career further along, my experience and life knowledge, on and on. I feel like Yoda ... slow moving, but quick when I need to be, and more patient wiser than I was 20 yrs ago. I imagine you to be the same. But some days, I just feel old. and tired. Just like Yoda did.

Someone using the monster beats by Dr dre headphones?
Can't tell if you're joking. If not, he's that Tyll fellow we know and love from teh awesome headphone web site, Innerfidelity.com.

Has anyone used the headset ?
Is that a Dre Beats after it's been inserted in a HC newb's rectum?

Al, I'm doing exactly what you're doing except for the AEX (my U-verse thingy is a wifi router/modem), and it works great. The wired ethernet connection is way more stable (and this is using a network-expander-via-the-house-electrical-wiring device), mainly because the components are so far away (two floors away and on the other side of the house) from the wifi transmitter, and the weak wifi signal was always a problem.

That's pretty darn good. When I looked into it, there wasn't anything close to that in IL. I should investigate again, though.
