  1. Well I'm enjoying a VERY nice W10VTG that arrived today in the UK from Australia. The best yet over the W5000 I had and the W11R I still have. Also continue to be impressed how well the AT woodies play with my M^3. I'm sure none of this is news to you all, but the experience just makes one want to say something.
  2. And therein lies the rub. I love music, so much so that the last thing I want to spend my life listening to are 'audiophile approved recordings'. Quite apart from the fact that 99% (made up statistic) of music was NEVER neutral or naturally recorded, produced or mastered, where is the value of such headphones to anyone who isn't either a recording engineer with intimate knowledge of his microphones, or a headphone obsessive with a playlist of half a dozen songs ? I'm curious... genuinely.
  3. Nice, another Arduino fan ? Love those things. Running a coffee roaster with mine.
  4. Hold your fingertip on the screen over the text, it should pop up a lens like thing which magnifies the letters underneath and can be dragged to any point within your text for editing.
  5. No video, voicemail or file transfer apparently. Unfortunately calls over WiFi only, which means it doesn't really do anything to circumvent the primary service provider - Contractually there's currently no way they or Apple are prepared to let anyone do that either. It does IM over the cellular network. Available Tuesday I read.
  6. If it was never designed to be opened, then by definition, opening it is damaging it surely? Apple always states in their documentation that the device should not be opened and doing so may void the warranty, so it's debateable perhaps, but another difficult point to argue with them certainly.
  7. I'm pretty sure opening it up will have voided the warranty whether it was water damaged or not. How can you rationally fight the claim refusal when you have no way of knowing whether it got wet prior to your ownership anyway? Buying a broken, 3rd hand consumer device and then expecting it to be repaired under warranty strikes me as odd to say the least.
  8. If your W11R's were the same pair that went to Blutarsky, I've been enjoying them for about a year now in the UK... I liked them so much I sold my W5000's, and while I'm not beyond the idea of an upgrade, I have no idea where to go from here... On the ESW9 front mine have just gone back to AT after a sudden and catastrophic left hand driver failure.
