I'm not a huge fan either, but he is really great in Ace Ventura. Ithink he pretty much borrowed his entire shtick from Dwight Schultz (Murdock from the A-Team), who does it better than he does anyway.
  5. The worlds most dangerous drug is my fist.
  6. Madonna's folded bra?

  10. Flight Of The Conchords season finale. It was pretty awesome, though the ending was really strange. I love Demitri Martin!
  11. Is it that good? I've only seen the end of it before fotc and I have no idea what's going on in it. My friends stepbrother plays this guy on the right on it though:
  12. There's a teacher in my school named ms. albert-hoffmann.

    Sweet.
  14. Well it depends on if it's made by the computer speaker part of klipsch, or the klipschhorn part of klipsch.

    nevermind
  16. Wow. That's badass.
  17. But the question is, just how much vibration is needed to actually cause noise or distortion? Is it microvibrations in the air, or an earthquake? I would like to try one of those crazy expensive vibration isolator things one day, and see if it works for myself. But til then I'm stuck wondering I guess..
  18. But at least that, like, makes sense! There are tubes and moving parts, plus your monitor could have been giving off emi or something. I have no doubt that that stuff reduces vibration, I just don't see how that will help the sound, especially dramatically. The only reasoning I've heard is something like "microvibrations cause components to resonate, making the impedence change", which I find kind of hard to believe.
  19. I just don't see how any of that vibration isolation stuff could possibly work with non tube gear or gear with no moving parts. Especially to the levels people claim (like how a rack is the biggest single improvement they've ever heard in their system). Though at least some of the stuff has some kind of science behind it, whereas all those wood blocks seem absurd to me.
  20. At least try 6BX7's, they sounded great when I had my toaster mpx3, even though it probably didn't have enough power to run them optimally. I'd like to see how a maxed out sp amp compares to the zana.
