Mostly unrelated, but just realized that one of my favorite Ray Charles CD is mastered by Steve Hoffman. Come to think of it, it's one of the first CD's I bought for myself.

Just finished the first round of snow shoveling. The job got a lot easier when a town plow (or more likely a contracted private plower) cleared about a 1/3 of our driveway for us. Also to their credit, they didn't plow us in (i.e., leave 3 feet wall of snow in front of the driveway) after Friday's snow either.

Oh, I love snow, don't get me wrong. It's the shoveling and driving in it that I hate.

Similar case down here, though less by about 6 inches. Also, this one's supposed to be wet and heavy. Argh.

And I got to benefit from one your efforts. It's a news like this that makes me sad and happy that I got out of the vinyl game (for now) - sad because I don't have a way to enjoy these releases, but happy that these releases aren't taking all my money.
