  10. Brahms piano concerto no 2 needle drop from noisy vinyl. I have no idea who the conductor or orchestra is, and the sound quality isn't very good, but damn the performance is stunning.

They put up samples of the upcoming album on their Myspace page today: Porcupine Tree on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads The stream quality is not very good, but I enjoyed what I heard A review from a listening session can be found here. Also it sounds like a 5.1 DVD-A is confirmed, which more than likely means a high res stereo PCM track on the same disc.

  23. Right, that's fine for you. I was addressing "foobar is only popular because it helps fix what sucks about windows music stuff" (Ayre's website even recommends other players that defeat Windows Kmixer as well). that's not the only reason it's popular.
