Ug, I dread having to monkey with foobar. It can be such a pain in the ass at times but I'll give it a go tomorrow. If all goes well you'll be seeing some new bartok in the "what are you listening to now" thread.
I recently procured some audio files with an .APE extension and am having trouble finding a free program that will let me do it. Is there one out there?
Yeah, I found my 60GB ps3 on craigslist for $275 and they dropped it off at my house and let me test it out to make sure it worked. Craigslist can be a great place to find cheep stuck on occasion if you don't mind praying on the desperate.
Wow, I was worried about my listening volumes but I've been listening to my music at about 65db which is about 25db lower than what is considered safe for 8 hours a day. I think it's a safe for me to turn it up a little every now and again.
I can't do it today. I just bought a sound level meter, I'm currently making a headphone stand/rack and have a date at 5:00. Tomorrow I may go on a tear.
You're right, ubiquitous wasn't the right word. But I do think that when one of the formats goes to the way side then we'll start to see lower budget movies start to move to high def over time.
Just finished the first episode of the third season of Six Feet Under. I think that if I left myself to my own devices I'd go sick and watch the entire season today.
God I can't wait until one of the HD formats bites the dust. I really want older art movies to come out in high def and that isn't going to happen 'til one of the formats becomes ubiquitous.
OK, so I admit it. I was totally off base and wrong. Dexter doesn't suck. The second season of Dexter is really good. I only have 3 episodes left and am relishing them.
It could just be that the vet is new. Perhaps not being prepared and the added stress of a new vocation made him/her irritable. Perhaps you should give them a second chance.
