  1. Yeah, I guess you got me there with the separate sentences. So, you meant that they are high priced yet good... though not necessarily of the same magnitude as Atma-Sphere and Kondo?
  2. Are you using it with that boostaroo thing or without?
  3. nono, it's like this: )) <> ((
  4. Weird, so... how much do they suck?
  5. Wavelength mentioned in the same sentence as Atma-Sphere and Kondo? Interesting. I'd like to see what KG thinks about the company.
  6. That is one good step, I'll give you that... I think it is more relative to what is in them vs. how much they cost. Same reason I'll never buy Empirical Audio. I guess it is a combination of my bullshit meter and my cheapass meter.
  7. I'll be interested to see how it compares to the Hertsens. I don't know why, but Wavelength has always made my bullshit meter go into overload... I've been wrong before though, and for Mike's sake I hope it is a keeper.
  8. "Says the man with the electret" That's electret-dynamic system to you, son! Seriously though, I try not to look at audiophile as the 'dirty' word that some do. Am I an audiophile? Without a doubt. What non audiophile customizes his stereo equipment, uses tubes, spends more than $100 on headphones, etc. I recently showed a picture of my office to a couple coworkers. They both liked the color scheme, and commented on my Wife's Mac (were in IT and support an all PC evironment), but one said "What's that thing with all the little lightbulbs?" and the other said "Nice valve amp!". I bet you can guess which is the audiophile.
  9. Guess what? You own electrostatic headphones. You are an audiophile. Sorry.
  10. I'm confused, I could have sworn you flat out said they were forward sounding at some point. Must be mixing you up with someone else from the Stax Mafia.
  11. Strange, you are always saying the HE90 is forward sounding [which I haven't noticed when I heard them], but I did notice that the HE60's are very forward.
  12. I prefer to call them 'mini meets' myself.
  13. Well, one of them is old, but the other is sorta cute in a freaky facial piercing sort of way.
  14. No thanks. Fuck JB, this cardas cable is too damn fidgety. I unplugged it by accident when my mp3 player was deep in my bag and somehow my the stupid thing was set back to play on the internal speaker when the cable is yanked. A little embarassing on the bus, but the girls in front of me seemed to like 'Let's Dance', so its all good, I guess.
  15. Lol, more like government workers don't get bonuses. I'm pretty sure those in private industry up here enjoy a bonus every once and a while.
  16. Unscheduled bonus?! Nice! I'd like to get a bonus... Period.
  17. An apocalypse statue, a wasp bust and a a bishop bust. For a friend who doesn't have paypal. Now I've got $275 cash money, which will be deposited shortly.
  18. Happy Birthday Buddy!
  19. Actually, mine are one stars, not chucks... my bad.
  20. A pair of converse all stars. My shoes were pretty much falling to pieces at work yesterday and they were the only thing that didn't suck at the winners near work. My wife made fun of me a bit saying she had the same shoes in grade 6, but they are comfy and didn't break the bank.
  21. So do you get a 1/4 share?
  22. Just a bit. Sounds like your beta22 is gonna be purdy!
  23. Looks like a Mac Mini... cool.
  24. I doubt it's that, just comes with the territory when your name is Jason Smyth. Would be even worse if my last name was spelt with an I. I'm sure they will sort it out. I've actually had it happen before, though on a smaller scale. When I applied for my student line of credit they rejected it because of $5k owed on a Sears card... It was easy to prove that it wasn't me in that case as I would have been 14 when I incurred the debt. I just told the lady on the phone to have a look at the date and my birth date and she just laughed and removed it from my record.
  25. Have a very merry un-Birthday Matt!
