Very cool, Gene, and as usual, along with gear that's good to the ears, you always choose beautiful gear for the eyes. Nice!

What did you do today?
That was really funny, and with a slight change in specifics, pretty much my experience. I'd not heard of this and it was not mentioned to me. I just looked it up and it looks far more appealing than the options I was told so far. I have an appointment with one of the two supposedly best ankle docs in Florida on Monday. I'll ask him about it. Thanks!

Ric, that's a great looking kitty, though I thought he had no eyes after the first few pics.

- What did you do today?
So, laxx, to answer your earlier question, as I begin my research, I went looking for some pics. Here are good ankles: Here's mine: and here's what I could have, or something similar I guess:- What did you do today?
Grahame, that is just disgusting.- What did you do today?
Nope. It was French toast with strawberries, blueberries, and bananas. All is right with the world again.- What did you do today?
I don't run or jump. Since it's been acting up the past few weeks, I haven't been at all. Even the exercise bike has been painful, so.....blech.- What did you do today?
Well, if you look closely, you'll see the joint doesn't exactly fit in the socket, and there's a bit of bone on bone. Living with pain is something I'm used to and can deal with for awhile longer as the other two options may be more problematic. Fusing would eliminate the pain, but I would lose the ability to basically move my ankle, and that would already add to the host of problems that I've already got with muscle atrophy in my calf and butt, due to walking in a kinda a sideways duck walk with my right leg so I don't have to bend my ankle, and throwing off the whole back, etc. I'd rather live in pain. As for replacement....dunno. They didn't even have ankle replacements not that long ago, so I'm just not sure about them. Add in risk, downtime from work, expense, etc., I'm willing to do some research, but that wouldn't be a decision I'd make quickly, and don't know if I could even pull off. Well see.- What did you do today?
Sucky visit at the ankle doc: He said he doesn't understand how I'm walking around as I have been, but there's absolutely nothing he can do for me to give me any relief, including any pill or shot or therapy. I basically have three choices: 1) Live with it. 2) Have it fused. 3) Have it replaced. I don't like any of those options, but for now, I'm choosing #1. On the good front, he also told me it didn't matter if I weighed 200 lbs or 100 lbs as far as my pain level goes or my mobility, as it's just that screwed. I'm going to go eat something bad right now to make me feel better- What did you do today?
Since you're up and typing at 4:48AM, I assume the sleep part of your sleep study isn't going all that well.- JH Audio stuffs

C'mon, Mikey. Think of how much better you'll run after you get trained in the high altitude- What did you do today?
Hope it's better, though since you're typing, unless using one hand, I imagine it is. Hope that goes well for you. I had an uneventful day at work, got caught up with a very close old friend I'd lost contact with for about a year, which was wonderful, and now I'm sitting here waiting for my neighbor to fix my water heater once again. Seems the guys installing the new one a few months ago had it set on max, and the elements burned out already. Can't help but wonder if that was on purpose. Those service calls can be pricey.- What are you listening to Part Two
Broke out a cassette tape of stray Fugs music and Tuli ramblings.- RIP Tuli Kupferberg
I don't know if any of you know of Tuli or the Fugs, but I knew and loved the man, and what's strange is that I'd been thinking about him a lot the last month for no reason that I could figure. I found out today that he passed. RIP Tuli. Fugs Co-Founder Kupferberg Passes - by Marc Tracy > Tablet Magazine - A New Read on Jewish Life- 2010 RMAF/CJ@RMAF
Well, there's a stray chance I might make it this year. I'm wanting to do something that weekend, and traveling to CO might be fun, and I could even try and visit some old friends. It's too early to tell if that's a realistic plan or not, but we'll see.
