Their main goals are self-perpetuation, increasing profits for gun manufacturers, buying politicians and then in turn selling said bought pawns to the base that they have worked into a fervor of paranoia and rage.

I processed a bunch of tracks with the DR plugin, and I'm going to post the results along with waveforms. First off the DR for the 2003 Grateful Dead remaster I posted previously: Now let's take a look at The Smashing Volume Levels, shall we? Siva is the opening track from their 1991 debut Gish. Siva1991 original: Siva 2011 remaster: I did two tracks of Siamese Dream. Initially I picked Disarm, which is a fairly quiet song, so I chose Cherub Rock as well. Disarm 1993 original: Disarm 2011 remaster: Cherub Rock 1993 original: Cherub Rock 2011 remaster: From Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness chose Tonight, Tonight. Tonight, Tonight 1995 original: Tonight, Tonight 2011 remaster: *phew* That was quite a process. In light of the above, maybe this thread should be renamed The Remaster Isn't Better.

I was going to post this in slow forum, but it's a bit to heavy for there. TotalBiscuit goes on a 17 minute rant about the Newtown shooting, violence in video games and the US (and UK) media.
