I'm hearing horror stories about how much pain it is, or they had to go to the ER...or whatever. The pain isn't what's worrying me the most, it's the fact that I can't eat solid foods for 2 or more weeks. I'm going to try to make most of my situation and use this time to shed some unwanted weight. Does anyone have experience getting their tonsiles out at age 27 or later?

Me too. The only reason I'm getting mine so late is because I asked for a refund, then changed my mind. I would have gotten it last week if I didn't ask for that. I should see if I can find that thread in my cache.

Yeah, it will be a damn shame if we lose that thread. But no, I haven't recieved it yet, but I do know it's in the mail. I traded emails with Larry throughout the day yesterday and he gave me a tracking number...so I know for sure that it's on it's way. I also asked him to triple check the amp to make sure it works when it gets here...and he assured me that it's in perfect working order. On a side note, he also told me he has a new version of the PR coming out soon...he'll be taking deposits very soon.

I didn't exsist in mid-2006. I hope some people that did their comparison did them in a word processing program first. It would be a shame to loose all the comparisons and reviews of different products. Imagine how many "What are the best headphones under $100?" threads will be deleted...it's going to be a shame. I do feel bad for the vendors that will lose feedback and preorder information. I know I wasn't on anybody's list. Pray that headfi can get this fixed!

No, I've owned a lot of different sets of cans. I just sold my 650's this past weekend. They were a little too warm for my liking. I'm going to go back to the 600's.
