  1. Dire Straits Love Over Gold It has been a while.
  2. Not to necro, but my BHA-1 finally came in (black, with female XLR connections). The sound so far doesn't suck. I have the manual here; would anyone care for me to upload the included schematic?
  3. I have one. PM me and I'll send it to ya.

I've been using Spotify premium for a while for casual listening—it is especially great for sampling music you might not want to buy, but might want to rickroll party guests with. My latest addiction, however, is Songza. Music playlists curated by actual human beings, who make decisions that computer algorithms (i.e., Pandora) just don't make. And in addition to just browsing by genre, you can explore moods, activities, decades, culture...shit like that. Another thing I love is that when you think you've browsed down to the playlist level, there's often one more level underneath. For example, go to Concierge: Sunday Afternoon > Relaxing at Home > Laid-back Acoustic there's actually one more level down. At that level, you could pick Acoustic Guitar Instruments, The New Singer-Songwriters, or Harvest Moon. And it's free and integrates with Sonos, so that doesn't suck.
  5. Brian Eno - Drums Between the Bells
  6. For da iPads I like the Joy Factory Smartsuit 3. It's sturdy, secure, and the magnets in the cover secure themselves to the *back* of the case as well when it's open.
  7. Done did it.
  8. Happy Belated Birthday, Tyll. I bought my first headphone amp from you, a Cosmic Headroom, back in the late 90s. I still have it! Ah, the days of listening to music on those crazy portable CD players. I remember having a Panasonic with the letters M.A.S.H. on it—not that I could tell you what those letters stand for anymore, but it was important at the time... You really are the Grandpappy of all my years of headphone appreciation and great listening! Thanks for all you do.
  9. I was going though (mostly) lurking withdrawal myself. Would be glad to contribute via PayPal to keep doing so...many thanks to Todd, and all the rest of you.
