  1. I think this will end up at $50 US a person, including shipping to you. I think I'd like to use the small flat rate box for these, so they don't get crushed. From Tent, my bill looks like: Amt Product Price Weight 2 XO Module € 24,37 0,00 kg 1 XO Module € 24,37 0,00 kg Subtotal: € 73,11 0,00 kg Shipping (TNT): € 25,60 Payment (Paypal): € 3,95 VAT: € 0,00 Total: € 98,71 If everyone is a go, please send me a PM.
  2. It is amaretto. I've only compared it to the Disaronno. It's sweet, but it has a complex flavor. There is a gift set now, where you can get a small bottle and some cherries that would be the way to go if anyone wanted to try this. I have an opinion on Tito's but it's not favorable... But I will say, one thing is it's an essential bar item for a Texan. At least in Austin, it has a huge following.
  3. One of those Smith and Cross Old Fashioned knocked me out. It was damn tasty though.
  4. The Luxardo is good. Nice sub for Noyeaux. Nice Shelly!
  5. I lolled at this: You're doing it wrong man...
  6. Head Case Rum Old Fashioned 1 cube Perruche 3 shakes Angostura bitter 1 dash water 2 oz Smith & Cross Navy Rum Do the ritual. And serve with three large ice cubes.

  8. I am not tempted by the V.E.P., I am not tempted by the V.E.P., I am not tempted by the V.E.P....
  9. Anvil Well, this is a fun one to experiment with. I tried three versions and settled with this one, which is really nice.... A+. And, sorry Anvil. Just say no to Campari. Tailspin Equal parts: Old Raj Green Chartreuse Carpano Antica A dash of Fee's West Indies Orange Bitters Stir.
  10. I think any eau-de-vie would work here, but what do I know
  11. My penance from stepping away from the friendly confines of Dr. Cocktail was three bad drinks. Do not use R&W in this drink. Do not use Gran Gala. That is my advice. Anvil Time Dulchin (modified) 2 oz pisco 1 oz apricot brandy (sub peach brandy) 1 oz fresh lime juice 0.5 oz Clement Creole Shrubb 1/2 tsp homemade grenadine Shake!
  12. Indeed Al. The mods are Dr. Cocktail's.
  13. The Millionaire #4 (modified) 1.5 oz Jamaica Rum (S&C Navy) 0.75 oz sloe gin (Plymouth) 0.75 oz apricot brandy (R&W) 1.5 oz fresh lime Shake and garnish with a lime wedge.
  14. I owned the Ayre for about a year. It's nice. At this point, I'd probably consider upgrading to larger Krell than my current amp or switching to a Pass amp. Speakers are DIY.
  15. 3 oz Cocchi 3 oz Fever Tree Soda 1 dash Stirrings Blood Orange Bitters ... And thus ends the first bottle of Cocchi. RIP.
  16. The rest of punch.
  17. The cacao is really subtle. It's an afterthought and more of a chocolate feel, if that makes sense.
  18. The Twentieth Century Cocktail 1.5 oz gin 0.75 oz Lillet Blanc (Cocchi) 0.5 oz Creme de cacao 0.75 oz fresh lemon Shake! Yes, yes, yes. This one is a keeper.
  19. Savoy has some strange ingredients... fun stuff to research when the time comes: Prunelle Brandy Hercules Groseille Caperitif Sirop-de-Citron Byrrh Lithia Water Charbreux Rock Candy Syrup Oxygenee Cusenier Eau de Vie de Danzig Pricota Forbidden Fruit Liqueur
  20. Yes, that looks nice. Added to my Amazon list. Now if I can dodge the crazies at these witch doctor sites and grab me a few ingredients I'll be set.
  21. Does anyone have a recommendation on a soda siphon? yes, I am thinking about trying DIY tonic.
  22. yup, my experience as well. 2 pairs of shoes is impressive, how did you orient them and what size? I'm assuming no laptop in the center of the bag?
  23. Buy the Ayre, it's a nice amp designed by a talented individual.
