  1. Doesn't work with virtual machines either.
  2. G-R XO Love it.
  3. nope, but I'm hitting the point of diminishing returns. I'm going to hit Anvil with what I have and then once I get to the end of that decide what to do Most likely I'll start Savoy at that point and when I get to a drink that requires some ingredient across the three, I'll pick it up then.
  4. And this drink marks the moving on to Anvil. It's a very nice drink, I might go with more lime but very nice. I have a feeling it's due to the (amazing) brandy. I got Savoy in the mail today. Wow, cool book.
  5. The Delicious Sour 2 oz peach brandy 2 oz applejack Juice of 1 lime 1 tsp sugar 1 egg white Soda Shake all but the soda in and iced shaker. Strain into a glass. Add a splash of soda.
  6. it's hard to really compare the approaches using pictures. Do you have schematics? Also, note that Sony will have less integration to do, then say dCS, which goes against my argument a bit I suppose. I think if we had some schematics, we could better discuss this.
  7. Convert between the various digital standards. Typically these are CPLDs running custom logic code.
  8. I think we can work out an exchange program stay tuned. Have you tried the WK with yellow Chartreuse?
  9. Jim, do you have some Calvados? I absolutely love the stuff. I'd heartedly recommend the Widow's Kiss. I'd love to also try it with the yellow Chartreuse. If you need a good one, the one I have is the Maison Surrenne petite of Calvadoses IMHO.
  10. The Widow's Kiss 1.5 oz calvados 0.75 oz Green Chartreuse 0.75 oz Benedictine 2 dashes Angostura Shake and garnish with a cherry. Chartreuse flask FTW!
  11. The Georgia Mint Julep Fresh mint leaves 1 tsp sugar (2 sugar cubes) Dash of water 2 oz cognac 1 oz peach brandy Muddle the water, sugar and some mint leaves. Add spirits and crushed ice. Stir like you are stirring shit up at Head-Fi. Add leaves to glass and transfer mixture.
  12. One of those drinks / punches that has to "integrate" for 3 days. Recipe when I drink it. The rum on the right was used in the drink as well as used to store the result.
  13. yeah, so the opa445 with 30v rails will have considerably more range in it.
  14. which opamp was used, how large were the voltage rails, and were local regulators used? that seems crazy low.
  15. The only complaint about the absolute strap I have is that when my Tri-Star is fully loaded and I hang it on the smaller pointy hooks on the back of stall doors (ie airports) it makes marks in the rubber and stretches it to the point that it looks like it will rip.
  16. My webstore will be opening soon
  17. I always assumed they were called reflow because of this: I do wonder what a ST300 would go for used though.... here's one for example: http://cgi.ebay.com/Pace-ST-300-Rework-Station-/330482865166?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4cf250540e#ht_1747wt_907
  18. Also, ever wonder why they call them "rework" stations?
  19. One of many drinks from last night at B&B (again) Witches Kiss Cognac, Campari and Strega
  20. I use a few different ones at the office. I prefer the Pace machines, but they might be a bit expensive. If you design a board with top side components only, the DIY methods using stencils work fine. I honestly only use the hot air station for messing with the secure packages and BGAs and maybe the odd SRAM module. Oh and assuming this is to streamline small production runs, what about looking into an assembly service?
  21. Just had another. Great drink. Got stuck with an insane bill just now though I got to compare the Lillet and Cocchi in the Vesper there and prefer the Lillet in fact. More agricole base drinks and I really love the stuff.
  22. Ha, look what I found: http://www.westinstfrancis.com/clock_bar/documents/CLOCKBAR_002.pdf http://www.westinstfrancis.com/clock_bar/documents/ClockBarBook2609_2__000.pdf http://www.westinstfrancis.com/clock_bar/documents/PhilosophyPage.pdf
  23. Nice post! I'm going to see if I can order a Brooklyn today (ahem notice the ambiguous time of day) and see if they have a house Picon or Torani....
