  1. after riding a road bike for a bit i've started lowering the mtb a little. even after lowering it i have negative drop. with no spacers, the stem flipped, and replacing the riser with a flat bar, i think i'd be at even i dont know how the tall people ride down a hill like this
  2. probably
  3. cant really tell from that photo the one on the left is the one i got that looks like yours, the one on the right is a 'real' one
  4. i see Gary's one of a kind silver Aristaeus in one of those shots
  5. they look like ones that i have. which KG also put on his curve tracer. only thing left is to crack one open and make sure the die size is the same as a real one, if you have one to compare. at worst, it seems there's a part with very similar if not identical specs that is being labeled 2sc3675, not a typical fake
  6. probably too late to tell her that bikes cost $200
  7. tried to order 1000pcs of 2SK216 and 2SJ79 from utsource. they replied saying they have no stock. interesting since they seem to have around that many on ebay. so i just ordered 100pcs direct from their website, they came within a few days. Fake, and looks just like the fakes on ebay. another ebay seller even has photos of ones with the same lot code. i think the 2SK216 is a 50V npn transistor, the 2SJ79 im not even going to waste time testing. already filed a credit card dispute
  8. just got my ass kicked on this route...didnt help that i made a wrong turn and did extra miles (the penis on the bottom right) IT band and such killing me http://www.strava.com/activities/91730523
  9. agreed, i was once told at a verizon store that a phone had a 600 by 8,000 pixel screen
  10. i still have the 5000pcs of 2sa1486 that i got from the highly suspect company...the ones where some of the leads are trimmed so thin they're about to fall off, about 5% of them test good for a very low voltage (but look identical), and they test positive for lead despite the box being labeled lead free. No idea where these came from but i sure am not going to use them. Luckily, i got the money back from my credit card company after they tried to stick me with store credit. Recently they sent me another email asking me when I'm shipping the parts back to them...yeah right...so they can re-inject them into the world supply? I'm thinking of making a video showing their destruction but need some creative ideas. Best i have so far is to dump them in a hot bucket of lye.
  11. just got a Kinetic Rock N Roll trainer thanks to brent calling me and saying chainlove had a good deal. 2 days later, here it is in the box. havent set it up yet as weekdays i do soccer or yoga. yesterday after soccer, decided to run a 40 yard dash for time, before i'm ancient. ended up with 6.72s..damn, that's slow imagine the facepalm when i realized i accidentally ran 60 yards. went back and did it again, got 4.81 (hand timed). want to try it fresh and go for a 4.5
  12. no one saw that software update coming?
  13. if i stick with it my long term goal is to do the Shenandoah 100, but maybe a metric century is a good place to start

  24. my iphone 5 has a yellow screen issue and ive been holding off until the warranty is almost up to get it fixed/replaced, figuring they'll just give me a new unit and then i can upgrade to the 5S and have a fresh 5 to sell. i bought it online from verizon. so do i take it to the verizon store? or an apple store? if an apple store i could do that in Denver as there isnt one where i live
