It's not heavy but I won't consider it as light, the bump under the headband of K701 hurted my head so much. Bass light? It has more bass than K501

except for the bass, I almost prefer every aspect of my K501 to GS1000

I emailed Grado and they forwarded my mail to the Canadian distributor, Audio Group. They replied that they can fix it for me. Thanks for everyone's help.

It came off itself I'm worrying that, if I send it back to Grado, I'll be taxed when I get it back. Anybody Canadian tried shipping their Grado headphones back for repair?
