  1. Oh yeah, Brent, I found a bike computer for you.
  2. They just got in the new ENVEs. Designed to only work with 28-32 wheels with a max of 80 PSI. Not bad for the price, I might end up trying out a pair.
  3. Decided to finally put my pig of a gravel bike on a diet. Took almost 2 pounds off the wheels. Glad to find that the 6bolt rotors work great with these particular SRAM brakes. The hubs are so narrow that my Garmin sensor will not even fit properly on the back wheel. The replacement caps for the hubs, had to convert to Thru Axle seem super cheesy and are a pain as they are not held in place when the wheel is off and I am trying to slip in the wheel adapter mount for my rack or the wheel when I get it home. 4. Yeah the dampening of the ride is the main reason to go to the smaller seatpost. This bike does not have the full Ti bike feel with the awful MTB teeth shattering post. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. Does anyone here have any experience using a shim to go down in size on a seatpost? Hate this rough riding MTB seatpost on the Litespeed and I am trying to decide if I try their Ti 31.6 Seatpost to lose some harshness or just use a shim and have tons of seatposts to choose from.
  7. I was just doing a test fit, before opening up the $70 cork pads to actually try it out. I think I will just stick with the beater wheels on this beater bike as they are bombproof and will handle the shitty roads around here. Not sure the old MFs are up for Illinois roads.

  10. He is not talking about real jeep trails, he is talking about dirt roads.
  11. No one that does not intend to ride trails needs a MTB. Anything you are going to ride can be managed by a lighter, more efficient gravel bike/all-rounder
  12. Get a gravel bike. MTBs suck on pavement.
  13. Pan seared Tenderloin, with roasted peppers, mushrooms and a tomato salad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I have a friend with the old TTrs. That 5 cylinder is the real deal. I have contemplated picking up a RS3 when they hit the market.
  15. Went out for a short ride with the Litespeed. A couple of early lessons: Rim brakes suck. Shimano wobbly brake levers are annoying. 23 Michelin Lithion 2s have less grip in crushed limestone that 37c WTB Riddlers. All fairly minor or obvious things so I am actually happy. Ride is better than the CF bike and handling is better in everything but gravel. Maybe I will go put the Litespeed on one of my two (Brent has none) smart trainers and work on the fit. 23. On my way.
  24. It was good. The BBQ sauce was mostly sweet i did not get much DL, but I have only had DL a couple of times so I might not be an authority. It was a nice burger place and only about 10 minutes from the house. I have been meaning to go there since you first mentioned it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Happy Birthday Raffy.
