  1. I know, right. Nothing is better than having things Brent desperately wants, but will never have. I might buy a couple more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. It is pretty impressive, and the best part of it is, Brent does not have and will not have one.
  3. I have to say, the Silca Ultimate Hiro Edition is about the most serious piece of cycling kit I have come across. This thing is overbuilt to the extreme and the packaging that it came in puts several $10k+ pieces of Audio gear packaging to shame. To top it off they do not just send a cheesy little Allen wrench to put it together but instead send one of their overpriced but awesome wrenches. I am reluctant to put this thing in the garage. 4. There are some really great panniers out there. I like the Ortlieb waterproof/insulated one I use for groceries, but the Banjo Brothers open top grocery one probably works better as a pure grocery getter. I really like the mounting systems from Ortlieb, secure and easy on/off. Neither is compartmentalized so that could be a turn off for a general use kind of pannier. I like the Relevate frame bags on the Jones as well.
  5. Have you gotten bags for the rear rack? That would be a very nice grocery shopping bike, especially if your grocery stores also serve beer.

  9. Heh, I typically tell clients that if a situation seems too good to be true, to be very suspicious, but since it is an Al thing I guess we will give him the benefit of the doubt but watch him closely.
  10. Nice, it seems like there must be tons of high end remodeling in that market. Al has awesome powers, luckily he uses them for the good. When do you move? Do you need anything for the new job/house?
  11. Neat Burger with duck egg and Niman Ranch Bacon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Where are you moving Steve?
  13. Yes, short ride under the full moon with beer in the middle. Think it is typically around 20 miles total. I think it is mixed surface so I would expect some dirt and gravel so not sure if that is your thing or not.
  14. We should get together for a ride sometime. I am thinking about doing the werewolf ride out in Aurora next week. If my shop actually gets my new wheels with Dyno built by then. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Managed to fit two rides into my busy work day today. The first was strictly MTB while this afternoon I did the gravel loop. The Jones does make for a capable allrounder bike. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Happy Belated Jim, hope it was a whole weekend of celebration (while sitting on the sidelines of some sporting event I assume).
  17. Of course, no one rides a bone stock bike, not even Brent.
  18. We turned training the new Roomba 980 into a drinking game. Have to take a drink every time it tries to hump some low slung piece of furniture. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Pan seared scallops and Alaskan King Crab legs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. A bit of a gravel ride in the 94 degree heat. What month is this? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  25. I might be able to do that ride on a motorcycle these days, not sure though as I might even bonk on a motorcycle.
