  1. It looks like we will be rolling in around midnight on Friday due to work crap and staying at the Marquis. Maybe I will run into some of you early Saturday morning.
  2. Why in the world would someone buy one with a manual transmission?
  3. The S4 is probably feeling pretty poor about itself since I have not been in it in months.
  4. Now that it is confirmed that Brent will not be attending, I guess I can look into making this trip myself.
  5. He ordered and changed specs three times and they got all bitchy so I walked away. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Chord Mojo

I agree the pricing seems strange, but if I can get a DAPish like device that does real DSD for less than the price of the AK240 or something it could be a nice deal. Especially since it seems the Mojo sounds better than the A&K stuff.
  10. Happy Birthday Gentlemen

    Chord Mojo

As a late adopter of the Mojo, I am reading up on the piece. I am intrigued by the Poly add on that should be coming out soon. Evidently it connects to the Mojo and gives it SD Card and Wireless capability. Kind of like a DAP, that you control with your phone or ipad. It appears to stream from the cloud for Tidal and Spotify but I am not sure if it will stream from the iPad, etc. or just sign in to Tidal itself..
  13. It was not that advanced, maybe 3-5 12-16 inch logs to clear that with fat bikes was pretty simple, especially for those with front suspension. Kasia had never seen a MTB trail and she cleared it all with the help of the Levo (Turbo) system.
  14. Luckily on this ride we did some real mountain biking with logs and drop offs etc. and I realized I dislike MTBing on a fatbike just as much as I did on a full suspension 29er so saved $4k today as the Fatboy is just fine for a winter commute bike, no need for anything more. 16. A bike with training wheels? That seems kind of high.
  17. The X1 Beargrease is all that is left, but that color scheme just does nothing for me. The studded Dillinger 5s really only measure out around 4.2 inches on 80mm rims so they should fit on either unless the rims on the Salsas are weird.
  18. Trying to decide at my shop between: and Both are Full SRAM X1 but the ugly ass red white and blue one is a light weight XC year round kind of fatbike while the green one is more winter with some trail riding the rest of the year.
  19. I have the Elite AmFib bibs and they are fantastic. Just cannot find any I can get here in time for the ride. Stupid amazon does not even deliver them same day.
  20. Speaking of crazy ass cold riding, we signed up for a fatbike, beer and chili ride this weekend where the temps will be a balmy 20ish degrees with wind. Reserved an electric Specialized fatbike for Kasia which should be a cool ride and I am providing my own or borrowing a CF Salsa for my ride. While I got tons of base layers for Xmas, I need to find something for Kasia. What are the bike nerd accepted base layers these days, Craft?
  21. I fit right into the Illinois riders that still have all their fingers bike culture.
  22. You Florida people just don't understand.
  23. What are those things?
  24. Stopped by the bike shop to inquire about a more carbonfibery fatbike and took some pics in the bathroom, no not in a perverty way. And got some new silicone grips and 45Nrth pogies for winter rides. Update: Did a ride in the 8 degree, 10+ MPH wind neighborhood with no gloves underneath the pogies in complete comfort. These things are awesome. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. It was great, well worth the bike ride to Whole Foods in the 10 degree weather.
