Should I buy it and have someone repeatedly run over it in front of you?

I have a Y22 somewhere in Texas. It was a fun bike, but in no way comparable to a modern full suspension bike. I am beginning to wonder if a fat bike would have made more sense than the gravel bike with all the snow in the forecast around here. Might be able to get out for a ride on Saturday before the next 4-8 inches come Saturday and Sunday.

Found out today it is an easy ride from my house to two large cycling paths with 100s of miles of routes to choose from. Did a quick ride this morning including a bit of single track, which was a lot of fun.

Did a nice cold ride, forgot my new gloves, this morning around the Argonne National Labs. Bike rides great and I feel pretty good after being off the bikes for a long time. A quick shot of the bike after some cleaning.

Seeing your bike is enough to get me back out on the road. For the time being I am trying to pick up a gravel bike for some great crushed gravel trails I have in my neighborhood. Looking at some Cyclocross bikes and some gravel bikes ranging from a low end Diamondback w/ Ultegra Diamondback to a Niner Cyclocross CC or Gravel Gravel or a Pivot w/ Ultegra Pivot Just looking for something basic so I am leaning towards the super cheap Diamondback, but the others appeal more to my snobbiness. :-)
