  1. The RCF is a completely different car than the IC. It is fast, but poorly reviewed competitor for the M4, RS5. The fastest 0-60 from the mags I can find for the IC350 F Sport is 5.5 seconds, with several mags putting it at 6 seconds.
  2. Yeah I have found it pretty crazy how many different 0-60 numbers there are for every car. The S4 brochure I have claims 4.9 seconds but the numbers vary greatly everywhere else I look.
  3. I stopped using all my k-edges and changed to the Garmin plastic mount. Seems to work very well, might protect the locking tabs better and looks great on all my black bars.
  4. Steve I would have strongly considered the Tesla, especially as they are now a client, but I live in a townhouse so charging it would be a bitch.
  5. The S4 is dramatically faster than the IS350F. I think somewhere around 1.5 seconds faster 0-60.
  6. Yeah, I had a great streak there where I was flying home from Atlanta more often on Delta planes than on the United ones I was supposed to be on. It was nice.
  7. Nice Chris. A Peninsula house? I am waiting to board a flight to Dallas. My third United flight in three days, and every one of them has been at least an hour delayed.
  8. That is a nice looking car. I wonder if they have a factory kayak carrier accessory.
  9. I did look at them. Seemed like a nice car, but like most of the cars you mentioned I think the Q50 cars I saw were all well over 40k. Not sure why the infinity would have less maintenance than the Audi and BMWs. I have never heard of Nissans to be all that reliable.
  10. I thought about several Lexi, as they seem to be the best built cars out there. My main issue was they are a much softer and slower version of the BMW that I think is too soft.
  11. While the station wagons look pretty good in that model, not sure it is what I want to drive.
  12. No station wagons. I thought I had already established it is the Blue Audi S4.
  13. Well the Golf R came in today. I had to let it go, but it was difficult. About the perfect little car in my mind.
  14. That is a very good description of driving a Porsche.
  15. Yeah, I am certainly not convinced of the quality of Audi, but it seems to be pretty tight in the test drives I have done. Really the only problem I still have is all the bright red lights everywhere in the interior. Too many lights and way to many red lights. That being said, the Japanese car I drove, WRX, was way behind on interior quality of both the Golf and S4. I guess there is a new update in 2016 but it seemed really dated and plasticy to me. The Golf Nav system was awful but the fit and finish was nice but basic. The S4 has a lot of nice tech on the inside and a dated outside. I think it will be alight for a 3 year lease and then dump it for something else. Maybe BMW will stop making such mushy cars by then.
  16. The video coming out of Houston is pretty much nuts. I remember being in Houston for a Hurricane once and I do not remember anything close to that level of flooding.
  17. There are two Pirelli World Challenge events in Ohio in August. Great racing series.
  18. Yeah, one of the first I tried. Didn't really like anything about that car. Looks, transmission, steering. Tech was okay. It is also a car in which there at least 20 in my small neighborhood and 20,000 in the immediate area. In case anyone is wondering, the 335 is not offered on Forza 5 so I did the 2008 M3, 2011 RS5 and a 2013 RS3. M3 1:33.2 RS3 1:32.8 RS5 1:26.21
  19. The RS3 is coming next year which should be pretty sweet and a hatchback. The interior of the S3 was ugly and the large button pod on the door made it hard to get out without banging my knee. It and the Golf were just too small on the inside for me to be comfortable in long term.
  20. Yeah, I figured. I just can't figure out if that one is functional or Boy Racer.
  21. I took your advice Grahame and moved my testing to the Top Gear test track. Golf R 1:34.6 S4 1:28.7
  22. Details of the used gray RS5 in case Steve decided to buy it instead of that three wheel thing. 7,800 miles 2013 for 63,500. http://www.auditysonscorner.com/used/Audi/2013-Audi-RS+5-71ca6a490a0a00de11a3407a3fa991ea.htm
  23. Bought the sport differential on my pretend car on Forza and took 15 seconds off my Nurburgring time. Seems like an important upgrade to the S4. This is the most entertaining way to car shop I have ever come across.
  24. They have a low residual value so a 58,000 BMW can be leased for 615ish while a 58000 Audi is closer to 730 per month. Mostly just poor resale value for Audis.
  25. I can certainly see that. The RS5s and the RS7 at my dealer were both very good looking cars and nowhere near as over the top as the M4.
