Kovax I got mine on Ebay and they were authentic Cree's 170D. Nothing blew up in smoke and sounds great

Does anyone know where to purchase a replacement elastic band for the Stax 007? Ideally same brown color. I have a larger head and the stock elastic is too tight, ideally would be great to have a looser fit. The rest of the fit is Ok the earcups seals pretty good but not as good as my 009. Thank you! That's a good point - I really like Antek products and they don't have any 350V with 15V secondaries. Perhaps a custom-made one - did not bothered to look elsewhere.

Hello all, Carbon finally done, tested and buttoned-up - sounds great and very quiet. This was indeed a fun & satisfying project. I would like to specially thank the following members for all their generous assistance with this challenging build (my first high voltage electrostatic amplifier) Kerry, sweetleaf, mwl168, jamesmking and JoaMat never worked with SMD's before and needed A LOT of help to debug & trouble shoot issues with the GRHV/LV power supplies, and could not have gone that far without tapping from your guys invaluable experience and know-how. There is only so much one can find inside the forums without getting lost. Thank you for all your patience with my million newbie questions and guiding me in the right direction. Hello folks Mostly finished the Carbon this week, powers up fine, no smoke! Can someone please help with instructions to adjust the 4 trim pots - assuming 2 are for offset and balance and correct measurements. I was able to replace a Zener diode to 100V instead of 130V - now have 580V bias supply Thanks to Kerry for his assistance!

Hello Folks Finished the power supply section this weekend. Question from a newbie perspective: looking for instructions how to adjust/test for the High Bias voltage before installing the new Carbon boards.. R21-50K ? This is for a Golden Reference LH+LV Version 2.0 Readings: Bias H to ground = 436 V U7 Current regulator pad IXCY10M90S (right of R21) to ground = 650 V B+ = 418.5 V B- = -417.6 V Thank you
