No one around these parts has made any extravagant claims for Amarra other than that it definitely does something to the sound that some of us like and some of us don't. Dreadhead couldn't stand it at CanJam, as I recall, but he could certainly hear the effect. To me it's just a straight preference issue, rather than some stereotypical audio horseshit like claiming to be able to detect the sonic differences between two types of sheathing over the same IC cable.
