  1. Joy Division -- Unknown Pleasures Vinyl
  2. Lucky Snowy supports up to 16TB then, eh? I can see it now -- "Keep your iTunes library in RAM. Latency begone!"
  3. Yeah, because "buy behind the curve" is such popular advice in these parts!
  4. The Dead Weather -- Horehound Vinyl.
  5. Yes, perhaps vintage, ultra low-mass Japanese tonearms with twitchy cueing are not the way to go then.
  6. Phase Two: ?
  7. The Black Keys -- Attack & Release Vinyl
  8. You're dreamy!
  9. I think you can take that to the bank.
  10. Wot no O3s?
  11. Thanks Al, was thinking more in terms of permanent organization. Guess there's nothing really stopping me just racking them in the shelves with a couple of heavy bookends like Jack does. So I'll just start there!
  12. There are some minor downsides.
  13. So, um, would you like a (potentially) better turntable? The Smashing Pumpkins -- Adore Mono remix vinyl.
  14. Is it messing with the page width? I'll prune.
  15. FW400 is history, sacrificed for one extra USB port. Looks like they couldn't shrink it much over the previous generation, so they settle for slimming the foot.
  16. She will be mine. Oh yes. Nice to see the chin shrinking still further. The one with the Core i5 in is going to smoke! Perhaps literally.
  17. Quad-core, 27-inch LED iMac with 16 gigs of RAM. Yeeeeeeeeesssss pleeeeeeeeaaaasssseee!
  18. Present Perfect, official tense of HC gear discussions!
  19. But you give up the optical drive for the extra storage. \ PS: Dan, are you on commission from Metric Halo these days?
  20. Joy Division -- Closer Rhino vinyl.
  21. I'll take "Things Everyone Here Will Overdo Eventually" for $100, Alex.
  22. Anyone have any recommendations for LP holders/organizers that can fit into existing shelving? Thinking of your basic toast-rack sort of concept, although Googling "record racks" yields this instead, not that I'm particularly surprised.
  23. Only under laboratory conditions.
  24. At the risk of sounding like somebody's uncle -- vinyl, tubes and Sennheiser!
