If I decide not to go, you can take my car if there is room to get me to Skippers. I still have not decided. It's been a while since I was last at Berns. I will not leave you all hanging. The biggest issue is whether I come up Thursday or Friday.

At the moment I am coming up Thursday night but may change, if I can change something I have on Monday, to arriving Friday (around 9 pm) and staying Monday night instead. If I stay with my current plan for Thursday night arrival, I might prefer a trip to Skippers over Berns. Not certain yet but that's how I am leaning.

That sucks CJ. I should have a couple of Bitches Brews, an Improvisacion, a Lucky Bastard, Hop Rod Rye, Racer 5 and maybe my last Dreadnaught for the meet.

Nate, sorry to hear about the additional training and Conn. The only times I've been to Conn were to see the Dead play in Hartford a few times and on my bike so we could take off our helmets for a short while.

Sitting in the airport in Raleigh. It's not much but at least they have Starbucks. We got to see snow yesterday. They got an inch, maybe two yesterday. Lucky for us it started about 20 minutes after we finished our hike. Got to got to The Pit for some spare ribs and pulled pork. We also had lunch at The Flying Saucer. It was a nice weekend with just the two of us.

A pair of Olukai Kameula shoes at REI. I also picked up 2 bottles of Bitches Brew and 1 bottle of Lucky Bastard. Hopefully they will survive in my luggage.

CJ, I agree, it is a very nice DAC. When you consider the price, it is a bargain. As with all Emotiva gear, the case and remote are nicer than gear well above its price. I've only listened to it for a couple hours last night but my initial impression is that anyone looking for a good home source and limited funds should check it out for sure. I will see how it compares to the Amarra 4 next week.

I guess I could bring my Sig up with me and a bunch of ammo in case we find some time to do some shooting. I think I may drop by Dick's Sporting Goods tomorrow and buy a few hundred rounds while they have them on sale.

Shelly, making sauce will be the next step. I make my own bbq sauces so why not some pizza sauce. Maybe it's time to make some cheese as well. Reks, I bet sour dough pizza would be great.

Yeah, take the pie off the stone when you remove from oven (grill for me) or it will keep cooking. This stone retains the heat for a long time. I make mine between 450 and 500 on the bubba keg grill. I used a pretty simple dough recipe which was pretty good. I need to experiment with some other recipes. I also want to try a deep dish Chicago style pie (it's not really pizza so I call it pie )

That is some good looking dessert Al. I still have about 1/3 of the second pecan pie left. I'm trying to resist.

I have frameless glasses. They are very light but I don't think I will go that way next time. I ended up not wearing them much, not due them being frameless but because they were progressive. I could never get used to them. Problem is that I need reading glasses more than ever but I still will not get progressives. I wear contacts from time to time but don't like them much. My distance Rx isn't too bad but I am finding I need to wear something more and more, especially when it's dark. So it looks like I need a pair for distance that will take a clip on sun glasses and a pair of reading glasses. Fortunately I don't have fat cheeks or a weirdly small head so hopefully it won't be too hard for me to find something. Vicki, by the way, if you have fat cheeks and a weirdly small head, you hide it well.

Raffy, if you have a Total Wine nearby, check it out. The store by me had the Sam Adams glasses. I don't recall the price.
